All Scripture; Really?

All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, 17 that the man of God may be competent, equipped for every good work. –2 Tim 3:16-17

All Scripture?  Really?! Because I gotta tell you trudging through all of the lists of Numbers and Chronicles is killing me.  How are these profitable for teaching reproof and correction?  I felt a little justified when Wayne Grudem told me personally (on mp3) that even he sometimes skims those lists.  Although it does show us that God no only deals with people as a whole but also as individuals, which isn’t much of an issue for us today as we only see our faith as an individual idea.

Ok, well I have fallen just a little behind but Saturday was my catch up day and I intend to get back on the ball.  My issue is that I often have to work early which messes my schedule up.  I also don’t keep to my schedule of getting up early on the weekend and so I don’t read then.  I think next year I will develop or find a schedule that doesn’t require weekend reading.
